The database is developed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), combining quantitative and qualitative methods starting from the patent valuation methodology. The indicator layer divides the patent value index system into three primary indicators: technology, law, and economy. A three-dimensional matrix is established based on the primary and secondary indicators. Data of the corresponding patent evaluation indicators are obtained through patent interface data. The 1-9 scaling method (minimum 1 point, maximum 9 points) is adopted to calculate the indicator weights, and the weighted score of each indicator is computed. The sum of all indicator scores constitutes the total patent score. Patents are categorized according to their total score ranges: 80–100 as high-value patents, 60–80 as important patents, and below 60 as general patents. This database provides technical references and guidance for R&D personnel of enterprises in the wheel rim industry, and offers R&D decision-making support for relevant companies.
