AOS: 3 wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer

The awraospsap3wM1.a1 datastream contains measurements of aerosol absorption from the Aerosol Observing System (AOS) 3-wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer. This instrument collects aerosol particles on a substrate and measures the change in light transmission relative to a reference filter to derive bulk particle absorption, correcting for scattering effects. The data were collected at Facility M1 (McMurdo Station Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica; AMF2), which is located at the AWR site (West Antarctica; Mobile Facility for AWARE), between November 15, 2015, and December 29, 2016.
