AOS: 3 wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer

The sgpaospsap3wS01.a1 datastream contains aerosol absorption measurements from the Aerosol Observing System (AOS) 3-wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer. This instrument collects aerosol particles on a substrate and measures the change in light transmission relative to a reference filter to derive bulk particle absorption, correcting for scattering effects. The data were collected at Facility S01 (Supplemental 1, Lamont, OK), which is located at the SGP site (Southern Great Plains), between March 29, 2016, and June 6, 2016.
