Multi-Filter Rotating Shadowband Radiometer (MFRSR): calibration files

The sgpmfrsrcalE20.c1 datastream contains derived measurements of ozone column abundance. This Value-Added Product retrieves aerosol optical depth (AOD) from total and diffuse solar irradiances measured by the Multi-Filter Rotating Shadowband Radiometer (MFRSR) at the Earth's surface, using calibration files. The AOD is a measure of the extinction of sunlight reaching the Earth's surface by aerosol particles, and is related to the aerosol burden in the atmospheric vertical column over the measurement location. The data were processed for Facility E20 (Meeker, OK, Extended), which is at the SGP site (Southern Great Plains) between December 26, 1997 and November 17, 2011.
