POLLEN ANALYSIS OF THE PEEK-A-BOO BASKET, CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK, UTAH

A coiled basket, referred to as the Peek-a-boo basket, was found in a cache (42Sa20209) in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. In an effort to determine the original contents of this cached basket, pollen samples were collected in the form of washes from this basket while still at the site. Control samples were also collected to aid in the interpretation of pollen types representing economically important plants recovered.一款被命名为‘躲猫猫篮’（Peek-a-boo basket）的盘绕编织篮，于峡谷地国家公园（Canyonlands National Park）针地区（Needles District）的一处窖藏（编号42Sa20209）中被发现。为探明该窖藏篮筐的原有存放内容，研究人员在其仍留存于发掘原位时，从篮筐内以冲洗物的形式采集了花粉样本。同时还采集了对照样本，以辅助解读本次检出的对应经济价值植物的花粉类群。
