<p>Way in which the Dutch population, from the age of twelve years and older, are spending their time. The data were collected by means of an interview and the distribution of time budget diaries among the same respondents. During one week respondents had to use the time budget diary to report about the time spent at the following types of activities: work (travelling time included), domestic work, taking care of children, shopping (visits to haircutter, doctor, post-office, bank etc. included), personal needs, education, religious and political activities, leisure, social and cultural life, sports, listening to the radio, watching tv, computer activities, talking, and reading. The interview is covering the same activities/ some specific questions: teleshopping, use of air miles, membership public library and-or book club, Internet connection. Background variables: basic characteristics/ housing situation/ household characteristics/ occupation/employment/ income/capital assets/ education/ politics/ religion/ readership, mass media, and 'cultural' exposure</p>
荷兰12岁及以上人口的时间分配情况。本数据通过访谈法及向同一组受访者发放时间预算日记的方式采集。在为期一周的时间内,受访者需使用该日记记录以下各类活动的耗时:含通勤时间的工作、家务劳动、照料子女、购物(含前往理发店、就医、邮局、银行等场所的行程)、个人生活需求、教育活动、宗教与政治活动、休闲娱乐、社会与文化生活、体育运动、收听广播、收看电视、计算机使用、交谈与阅读。访谈内容除涵盖上述活动相关议题外,还包含若干专项问题:电视购物、航空里程使用、公共图书馆及/或读书俱乐部会员资格、互联网接入情况。背景变量包括:基础人口特征、居住状况、家庭特征、职业/就业状况、收入/资本资产、教育水平、政治倾向、宗教信仰、阅读习惯、大众媒介接触及‘文化’接触情况。
