Raw data for developing online quality analysis and optimal control technologies for the mineral processing crushing and grinding process was collected from the key equipment and processes of the crushing and grinding system in the first concentrator workshop of Jinchuan Group's concentrator plant, the project's demonstration unit. The collected data includes original data related to intelligent perception of ore quality characteristics for crushing and grinding incoming materials, intelligent perception of mill load status, simulation of the grinding classification process, and research on interval quality adaptive control technology for grinding products, as well as analyzed data derived from the original data to achieve specific technical objectives.
(1) The intelligent perception data of ore quality characteristics for crushing and grinding incoming materials mainly consists of ore images on the ore feeding belt and the number of large lumps corresponding to the images. Both the image data and the corresponding lump count data are sourced from the belt ore particle size image analyzer. The image data is in .png format (1.51 GB), and the lump count data is in .csv format (58 MB). This dataset supports the judgment of ore quality characteristics in the crushing and grinding process.
(2) The intelligent perception data of mill load status mainly includes mill load characteristic values, which are collected from the intelligent mill load monitoring device. The mill load characteristic value data is in .csv format (4.52 MB). This dataset supports the intelligent perception of mill load status.
(3) The simulation data for the grinding classification process mainly includes the input and output variable tables of the simulation model and the grinding classification process data (including detected values and calculated values). The detected values come from on-site process instruments, while the calculated values are from the simulation model. The input and output variable tables are in .xlsx format (12 KB). Both the detected values and calculated values in the grinding classification process data are in .csv format, with the detected values totaling 407 MB and the calculated values totaling 62.6 MB. This dataset supports the quantitative description of the grinding process.
(4) The data related to the research on interval quality adaptive control technology for grinding products consists of control rule variable tables, fluctuation data of grinding product particle size indicators, and energy consumption indicator data per ton of ore in the crushing and grinding process. The control rule variable tables are derived from control rule formulation criteria, and the indicator data comes from production surveys. The rule variable tables are in .xlsx format (12 KB), and the indicator data is in .csv format (6.24 MB). This dataset supports the implementation of crushing and grinding process control and the evaluation of control effects.
