Image Quality Evaluation of High Resolution Satellite Optical Sensor Based on Radial Target

Spatial resolution and modulation transfer function（MTF）are important parameters for image quality evaluation of high spatial resolution satellite optical sensor. And they are objectively reflecting the imaging quality of remote sensing imaging system directly. A method using radial target for resolution measurement has been presented, which combines the large area target with the same reflectivity. It can accurately obtain the MTF with or withnot atmospheric, according to the relationship between the target modulation, the object modulation of the sensor and the image modulation.
