SINOPROBE-2 Controlled Source

Sinoprobe-2 was conducted in 4 deployments. Each deployment used 300 RT125A data recorders. Some stations were re-ocupied on latter deployments. The seismic recording line ran rom the Mongolia/China border southeast to Beijing, China. The objective of this seismic line was to investigate the crustal and uppermost mantle structure of northern China and the tectonic development of the Trans-Central Asia orogenic belt.

Sinoprobe-2项目共开展4次野外部署，每次部署均使用300台RT125A型数据记录仪（RT125A data recorders）。部分观测台站在后续部署中被复用。本次地震测线从中蒙边境向东南延伸至中国北京，其探测目标为研究中国北部地壳与上地幔结构，以及中亚中央造山带（Trans-Central Asia orogenic belt）的构造演化历程。
