Coastal Data System - Waves (Hay Point)

Measured and derived wave parameters from data collected by a wave monitoring buoy anchored at Hay Point. This site is jointly operated by the Department of Environment and Science and the [North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP)](http://www.nqbp.com.au/). \r\nFor more information please refer to [www.qld.gov.au/waves](https://www.qld.gov.au/waves). \r\n \r\nField names are; \r\nHs - Significant wave height, an average of the highest third of the waves in a record (26.6 minute recording period). \r\nHmax - The maximum wave height in the record. \r\nTz - The zero upcrossing wave period. \r\nTp - The peak energy wave period. \r\nPeak Direction - Direction (related to true north) from which the peak period waves are coming from. \r\nSST - Sea Surface Temperature as measured by a sensor embedded in the bottom of the hull of the buoy.本数据集包含由锚定于海伊角（Hay Point）的波浪监测浮标采集的数据所得到的实测与衍生波浪参数。该站点由环境与科学部与北昆士兰散货港口公司（North Queensland Bulk Ports, NQBP）联合运营。 欲获取更多信息，请参阅[www.qld.gov.au/waves](https://www.qld.gov.au/waves)。 数据集包含以下字段： Hs：有效波高（Significant Wave Height），指单条时长26.6分钟的记录内最高三分之一波浪的平均高度。 Hmax：该记录内的最大波高。 Tz：零上跨波浪周期（zero upcrossing wave period）。 Tp：峰值能量波周期（Peak Energy Wave Period）。 Peak Direction：峰值周期波浪的来向（以真北为基准）。 SST：海面温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST），由浮标船体底部嵌入的传感器测得。
