Modelled dataset for working population by workplace geography across 9 sectors in China

Quantifying the spatial distribution of employment is critical for urban planning and economic modelling. Despite the extensive focus in previous studies on economic output and settlement patterns, the spatial distribution of employment has been largely overlooked. To address this gap, we developed a county-level employment dataset across 9 sectors for China in 2020, using a Linear Programming algorithm.量化就业的空间分布，对于城市规划与经济建模均具有重要意义。尽管既往研究多聚焦于经济产出与定居模式，但就业的空间分布在很大程度上被忽视了。为填补这一研究空白，我们基于线性规划（Linear Programming）算法，构建了2020年中国覆盖9大行业的县级就业数据集。
