2021 GHG Acreage Release Areas

The 2021 Offshore Greenhouse Gas Storage Acreage Release is a key strategy of the Australian Government to reduce emissions and support Australia's resource sector. The GHG acreage release will provide companies the opportunity to explore for offshore carbon dioxide injection and storage locations. The 2021 GHG acreage release consists of 5 areas across the Bonaparte, Browse and Northern Carnarvon Basins.2021年近海温室气体存储区块出让计划是澳大利亚政府为实现减排目标、扶持本国资源产业推出的一项关键战略举措。本次温室气体（Greenhouse Gas, GHG）区块出让计划将为企业提供近海二氧化碳注入与存储点位的勘探机会。2021年该温室气体区块出让计划涵盖分布于波拿巴（Bonaparte）、布劳斯（Browse）与北卡那封（Northern Carnarvon）三大盆地的共5个区块。
