The Rodrigo Corpus

The Rodrigo<em> </em>corpus was obtained from the digitisation of the book “Historia de España del arçobispo Don Rodrigo”, written in ancient Spanish in 1545. It is a single writer book where most pages consist of a single block of well-separated lines of calligraphical text.

This dataset is free available for research purposes. It contains 15,010 images of text lines with their paleographic transcription. It is divided into three partitions: 9000 text lines for training, 1000 for validation and 5010 for testing.

罗德里戈语料库（Rodrigo corpus）由1545年以古西班牙语撰写的《Historia de España del arçobispo Don Rodrigo》一书数字化而来。该语料库的文本均来自单一作者，绝大多数页面均为单块排布、行间距规整的书法体文本行。
本数据集可免费供研究使用，包含15010条文本行图像及其古文字转录（paleographic transcription）标注。数据集被划分为三个子集：9000条文本行作为训练集，1000条作为验证集，5010条作为测试集。
