AvoidBench is a high-fidelity visual obstacle avoidance benchmark suite for multirotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), developed by the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. This dataset leverages virtual scenes built with RotorS and Unity3D to enable realistic simulated flight experiments. AvoidBench not only provides performance and environmental complexity metrics, but also evaluates the performance of visual obstacle avoidance algorithms through a series of tasks. The dataset is suitable for evaluating and comparing different obstacle avoidance algorithms, especially for applications in complex environments, and aims to improve the safety and efficiency of unmanned aerial vehicles.
