Impact of different genetic backgrounds on the evolution of elevated antibiotic resistance in the blaADC-7

The same blaADC-7 in two different bacterial species yielded different MICs to a range of drugs after evolution in cefepime. Additionally, the 3rd E. coli evolutionary replicate evolved a novel point mutation in blaADC-7: S286R.在以头孢吡肟（cefepime）为选择压力进行进化培养后，两种不同细菌物种中携带的同一blaADC-7基因，对一系列药物呈现出不同的最低抑菌浓度（MIC, Minimum Inhibitory Concentration）。此外，第3株大肠杆菌（E. coli）进化重复株在blaADC-7基因中产生了一处全新的点突变S286R。
