Psychomotor Performance of Preterm Infants Born Between 24 and 35 Weeks of Gestation

The purpose of this study was to examine the motor skills and postural stability of early childhood children born less than 35 weeks' gestation and compare their results with those of children born on time. An additional assessment was made of their level of reactivity, using the Vienna Test. The study enrolled 35 children aged 7-9 years, born between 24 and 35 weeks of gestation and 35 children born at term. The children performed EUROFIT tests, postural stability tests using a Biodex Balance System and the Vienna Test.
