Tensile test results of conductor strands and insulation and sheath rubber of shearer cables

Based on the homogenization theory and volume average principle,the tensile test method was used for calibrating the equivalent mechanical parameters of insulation, sheath, and conductor strands. This includes various specifications of metal conductor strands, as well as sheath and insulation of different rubber materials, such as CPE rubber, EPDM rubber, and Neoprene rubber.The overall test results are summarized in Excel spreadsheets, which prepare for subsequent finite element analysis.
