The master weaver is counting the warp ends by the lhob using sticks to help marking. Place a stick between 8 yarns, 5 times to get 40 rounds of warp winded. One round of warping of 1 ends makes 2 ends when cut and used. Hence, 40 rounds makes 80 ends. That equals 1 lhob.
