Fe storage in the marine diatome phaeodactylum tricornutum

Phaeodactylum tricornutum is a photosynthetic micro-alga. Fe is a crucial co-factor of the photosynthetic apparatus of the micro-alga. We will visualize the subcellular compartmentalization of Fe in p. tricornutum with the aim to investigate the chloroplast-mitochondria interactions.
