Study on the influence of roof greening plants on temperature

In this experiment, a roof greening area (about 600 square meters) in the core area of Beijing was used as the test site. Through thermal imaging, the temperature of floor tiles, soil, plants (Phedimus aizoon, PA) and asphalt felt were compared and studied. The results show that the cover of the PA can significantly reduce the building temperature. This study has reference significance for energy conservation and reducing the heat island effect in urban core areas.
