This passenger flow analysis dataset is generated by filtering and processing the actual application data of Wuyitong, the local public transport card system, in bus scenarios. It includes multi-dimensional travel data of the elderly population aged 60 and above in Jiangmen, such as travel timestamps, selected bus routes, transport operators, and passenger flow categories grouped by different age groups. By leveraging this dataset, a comprehensive overview of the public transport usage patterns of Jiangmen's elderly population can be obtained—for example, comparing the half-price and free elderly pass usage across different bus routes. It can also assist traffic planning authorities in formulating more precise bus route plans and enhancing the operational efficiency of the public transport network.
