NIW in ECS

Observed NIC.mat------Observed NIWs at the East China Sea. The Near Inertial Current (NIC) data was extracted from the observed horizontal velocity using a bandpass filter in the frequency range between 0.8 f and 1.2 f (here f represents the local inertial frequency, which is 0.9997 cycles per day in our observation site).<br>The following four files are the ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System) model results near the mooring location. Each file contains 9*9 horizontal grids and 40 vertical levels. ROMS_typhoon_tide: forced with synthetic typhoon and TPXO tides;ROMS_typhoon_only: forced with synthetic typhoon without tides;<br>ROMS_tide_only: forced with NCEP/NCAR winds and TPXO tides;<br>ROMS_control: forced with NCEP/NCAR winds. <br><br>Measured CTD.xlsx------measured CTD profile at the continental slope of the East China Sea.<br><br>
