By extracting commodity sales data of brand stores in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region via the platform, this dataset enables evaluation of product sales performance across different seasons in this region. By analyzing customer color preference and size proportion data, it also provides insights into customer preferences and the size distribution of the local customer base, optimizes marketing plans, facilitates rational arrangement of production orders, and supports targeted regional pre-stocking.
### Data Collection
Collect sales-related data including order source store, color, size, season, province, city, district, product category and other relevant fields.
### Data Processing
Perform data cleaning, remove duplicate entries, handle missing values, identify and process outliers to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the dataset.
### Data Analysis
Conduct statistical analysis on the dataset. First, count the top 6 best-selling products by sales volume for each season in the Inner Mongolia region. Then, perform separate analysis based on the "color" and "size" fields, and calculate the color preference and size proportion for the top 6 product categories respectively. The formulas are as follows:
- Color Preference = Order volume of a specific color for a product category / Total order volume of that product category
- Size Proportion = Order volume of a specific size for a product category / Total order volume of that product category
Calculate the product categories favored by the local customer base across each season, as well as the customer color preferences and size selection proportions for those categories. Finally, visualize the analysis results using BI tools through a self-developed model.
