A small discrete choice experiment (DCE) conducted among participants of a course on Monte Carlo simulation methods in the social sciences at the LMU Munich in the winter semester 2021/2022. It is used as an illustration of how such designs can easily be implemented and how even with small samples we are able to detect causal effects with suitable (fractional factorial) designs.
