MYANMAR (2010): MAP STUDY EVALUATING THE AVAILABILITY OF APHAW CONDOMS IN FOUR SUPERVISION AREAS ROUND TWO

This MAP study aims at studying the availability of Aphaw male condom in and near the hotspots where high risk population live or work. MAP studies allow programmers to make an assessment of product availability and accessibility using pre-defined criteria for coverage, quality of coverage and access. Its goal is to increase the overall efficiency of social marketing product and service delivery systems. The main objectives of the PSI/Myanmar 2010 MAP survey were to (1) monitor the coverage and quality of coverage of PSI's Aphaw condoms, and (2) monitor access and market penetration of Aphaw condoms in high-risk areas for HIV/AIDS (hotzones).本MAP研究（MAP study）旨在调查高危人群居住或工作的热点区域及其周边地区Aphaw男用安全套(Aphaw male condom)的可获得性。MAP研究可使项目人员通过预先设定的覆盖范围、覆盖质量与可及性标准，对产品的可获得性与可及性开展评估。该研究的目标在于提升社会营销产品与服务交付体系的整体效率。PSI/缅甸2010年MAP调查的主要目标为：(1) 监测PSI旗下Aphaw安全套的覆盖情况与覆盖质量；(2) 监测HIV/AIDS高风险区域（hotzones）内Aphaw安全套的可及性与市场渗透率。
