This dataset contains five files:<br>Canopy.tif = Canopy height for mined areas of southern West Virginia based on Lidar analysis from Ross et al., 2016<br>Canopyagg2m = The % of a 30m pixel that had vegetation of less than 2 meters in height (from original 5m dataset)<br>LastMinedCamp = A dataset of the year mining was last detected in Southern Appalachia<br>Reference Canopy = A dataset of Canopy height in unmined reference areas<br>refgrassp = % of canopy in reference forest that was originally less than 2m in height. <br><br>Both the ERL paper (DOI) and the Ross et al., 2016 paper contain more details on how these datasets were generated. <br>
