In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of <i>Triplophysa erythraea</i> was determined for the first time. Results showed the mitogenome was 16 565 bp, including 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, 13 protein-coding genes and 2 non-coding regions. The overall base composition of its mitochondrial genome was 28.9% A, 25.2% T, 28.7% C and 17.2% G. Phylogenetic tree revealed that <i>Triplophysa erythraea</i> had the closest relationship with <i>Triplophysa xiangxiensis</i>, which was also found in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan province. In general, this study provided valuable information for conservation genetics analyses of <i>Triplophysa erythraea</i> and further displayed the evolution of species within the genus <i>Triplophysa</i>.

本研究首次测定了红鳍高原鳅(Triplophysa erythraea)的完整线粒体基因组。结果显示,该线粒体基因组全长16565 bp,包含2个核糖体RNA基因、22个转运RNA基因、13个蛋白质编码基因以及2个非编码区域。其线粒体基因组的整体碱基组成为:A占28.9%、T占25.2%、C占28.7%、G占17.2%。系统发育树分析表明,红鳍高原鳅与湘西高原鳅(Triplophysa xiangxiensis)亲缘关系最近,后者同样分布于湖南省湘西土家族苗族自治州。总体而言,本研究为红鳍高原鳅的保护遗传学分析提供了宝贵参考数据,同时也为高原鳅属物种的演化研究提供了新的科学依据。
