资源简介:
Initial trip dataset come from 49 French origin-destination surveys (Enquêtes Ménages-Déplacements - Cerema and Enquête Globale Transport - DRIEA-STIF-OMNIL) in which every trip made on the day before the survey was reported by respondents. Only trips occurring on weekdays (Monday-Friday) were considered. Additional person-based information regarding gender (men and women), age and level of education of the respondents were provided in the origin-destination surveys. We have defined four age : 16-24 years, 25-34 years, 35-64 years and 65 and more. We have also merged respondents’ achieved level of education in four groups of individual educational status: low (middle school or less), middle-low (high school without Baccalauréat), middle-high (Up to two years after Baccalauréat) and high (three years or more after Baccalauréat). Our trip dataset contains 385,000 respondents (aged 16 and more) and 1,711,000 trips across 49 city regions. Initial trip dataset has been transformed into a hourly location dataset in which every location was defined at district level. District correspond to a neighborhood in core urban areas and to a municipality or a group of municipalities in peripheral areas. There are 2,572 districts with roughly same number of respondents per district of residence. 24 hourly time steps were defined to get 24 cross-sectional pictures of respondents' locations according to gender, age or eductaional subgroupss. Number of present population by district and hour have been estimated taking into account respondent's weighting coefficients provided in original dataset. To explore urban gradient we also consider the districts belonging to the main inner cities in every of the 49 city regionsas well as the districts located in urban poles and those located in peripheral areas, following the French functional urban zoning ('Zonage en Aires urbaines) proposed by the French National Statistical Institute (INSEE). Hourly populations estimations for French 2,572 districts and across gender, age or educational groups are displayed in the interactive Mobiliscope platform (www.mobiliscope.cnrs.fr) and made here available under the Open Database License - ODbL. Users are free to use and adapt these data as long as they redistribute a version of their adapted database under the ODbL licence and that they attribute the original sources as indicated in the readme file. See also Vallée J & Lenormand M (2021) Intersectional approach of everyday geography. arXiv preprint arXiv:2106.15492.
