Dataset for the Detection of Helmet Use in Motorcycle Drivers

Compilation of 32 videos of motorcycle drivers, where each one participate in two videos, one wearing full or modular type protective helmets and other without helmet. The objective of the collection is to serve as input data to train and test machine learning models that improve motorcycle safety from a driver perspective. This dataset was collected at the Laboratory of Interactive Technologies and User Experience (LITUX) of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, México, in an open but safe environment for the driver, the camera position was selected in a place where it would not interfere with the dashboard data or vision of the road.

本数据集收录32段摩托车驾驶员的骑行视频，每位驾驶员均参与两段视频拍摄：一段佩戴全盔或模块化防护头盔，另一段不佩戴头盔。本数据集的采集目的是作为输入数据，用于训练和测试机器学习模型，以从驾驶员视角提升摩托车骑行安全水平。本数据集由墨西哥萨卡特卡斯自治大学交互技术与用户体验实验室（Laboratory of Interactive Technologies and User Experience，LITUX）采集，采集场景为开放但保障驾驶员安全的环境；摄像机机位选取在不会干扰仪表盘数据读取及道路视野的位置。
