光晶格中费米气体超辐射量子相变研究首次在光学腔内实现了超冷费米原子和光学腔的强耦合,并观测了在相变诱导的光晶格中产生的自组织行为。该工作还揭示了费米-狄拉克统计对相变行为的影响,费米气体中相变阈值与原子数的依赖关系随着体系温度的降低表现出了与玻色爱因斯坦凝聚以及经典热原子截然不同的行为。
For the first time, the study on superradiant quantum phase transitions of Fermi gases in optical lattices realized the strong coupling between ultracold Fermi atoms and an optical cavity, and observed the self-organization behavior induced by the phase transition in the optical lattice. This work also revealed the influence of Fermi-Dirac statistics on phase transition behaviors. Specifically, the dependence of the phase transition threshold on the atomic number in Fermi gases exhibits behaviors distinctly different from those of Bose-Einstein condensates and classical thermal atoms as the system temperature decreases.
