Data & Methodology of "Risk-Sharing Networks, Consumption, and Asset Allocation: Micro-Evidence from China"

The data used in Risk-Sharing Networks, Consumption, and Asset Allocation: Micro-Evidence from China are sourced from the China Household Finance Survey (CHFS), which is conducted by the Survey and Research Center for China Household Finance. The CHFS data are publicly available through the official website of the Survey and Research Center for China Household Finance.
For this study, the authors accessed the CHFS data through the secure CHFS Data Platform. Due to the terms of use of the platform, the authors do not have the right to export and provide the data. However, interested researchers can access the data directly via the CHFS official website (https://chfs.swufe.edu.cn/). Here, we provide detailed and replicable guide in data & methodology of this study.
