Tourist Survey, Winter 2014

The Tourist Survey is a nationwide survey that Statistics Norway (SSB) conducts on behalf of Innovation Norway. The study is based on interviews with Norwegian and foreign tourists as well as business travelers at commercial accommodations. This study includes analyzes of travellers who were on holidays or business trips in Norway during the winter season in 2014 (from January to April). The study estimates their overall consumption and considers how consumption was distributed. In addition the collected data gives insight to the tourists' behavior, their assessment of the holiday and what they do while they are here.
