Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the PNG MARGINS Focus Site acquired during the Melville expedition VANC27MV (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Melville expedition VANC27MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Andrea Ogston). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Processes Controlling Depositional Signals of Environmental Change in the Fly River Sediment Dispersal System and Transition season cruise, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-03351.本数据集依托2004年执行的梅尔维尔号科考航次VANC27MV采集，所用设备为船载贝尔航空航天BGM-3重力仪（Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter），首席科学家为安德里亚·奥格斯顿博士（Dr. Andrea Ogston）。所有数据文件采用MGD77格式，包含重力场（Gravity Field）数据，且已在采集完成后完成预处理工作。本数据集隶属于以下两项研究项目：《弗莱河沉积物扩散系统中环境变化沉积信号的调控机制研究》与过渡季航次项目，研究经费由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）的OCE02-03351号资助项目提供。
