Cellular immune responses against CEF after Tat immunization.

IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4 production by PBMC, and CD4 or CD8 lymphoproliferative responses to CEF were measured at baseline and up to week 48 after the first immunization, respectively. Results are stratified by Tat doses, (7.5 and 30 µg). n indicates the number of responders for cytokines production and CD4 or CD8 T cell proliferation, respectively.
