Crawford Productions Crime Research Collection

This is a collection of research materials gathered by Crawford Productions that were used as a reference point for the various police and crime shows produced by them. The research includes clippings files kept on various crimes as reported in the newspapers of the day. These were indexed by type of crime, ethnic and local detail, and historical context. If the clipping was used as research for a particular show this would be noted. The items within this collection were donated by Crawford Productions to the AFI Research Collection in 2005.本数据集为克劳福德制片公司（Crawford Productions）收集的研究素材合集，曾作为该公司出品的各类警务与罪案题材剧集的参考依据。该合集涵盖当时报纸报道的各类罪案剪报档案，此类剪报均按罪案类型、族裔与地域细节及历史背景完成编目索引。若某份剪报曾用于特定剧集的研究工作，相关使用信息均会予以标注。本合集中的全部素材均由克劳福德制片公司（Crawford Productions）于2005年捐赠至AFI研究馆藏（AFI Research Collection）。
