Konde women and children, Nyasa, Tanzania, 1929

"Gruppe von Kondefrauen. Dr. med. O. Fischer" ("Group of Konde women. Dr. O. Fischer "). Under a group of banana trees three women and three children: the women wear strips of bast, held by a string around the hips and hanging down to the ankles. They have painted faces.
