Cyberattacks experienced by U.S. companies 2023

In 2023, network intrusion was the most common type of cybercrime attack experienced by companies in the United States, accounting for 51 percent of incidents. Business e-mail compromise (BEC) ranked second, with 26 percent of data security incidents in U.S. companies.
