VIIRS/NPP Sea Ice Cover 6-Min L2 Swath 375m, Version 2

This data set reports the location of sea ice cover derived from radiance data acquired by the Visible Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (NPP) satellite. Following the approach used by MODIS, Sea Ice is detected using the Normalized Difference Snow Index.本数据集报告了由搭载于苏奥米国家极轨伙伴（Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership, NPP）卫星的可见光红外成像辐射仪套件（Visible Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite, VIIRS）获取的辐射数据反演得到的海冰覆盖位置。本研究遵循中分辨率成像光谱仪（MODIS）所采用的方法，利用归一化差分雪指数（Normalized Difference Snow Index）开展海冰检测工作。
