Probability of the appearance of cucumbers in 2008

The map shows the probability of small chicks (length less than 30 mm) in the Archipelago Sea between Mynälahti-Paimionlahti and in front of them. Probability of occurrence is the probability that at least one juvenile has been caught in the designated area. The probability of occurrence is divided into two categories 0-59 % and 60-99 %. The data was produced in the framework of the coastal fish breeding areas project, which is a sub-project of VELMU. The project will develop methods suitable for coastal conditions for mapping fish breeding areas and produce map data on breeding areas. The map can be applied to the assessment of the location of the cucumber areas important to the zander.
