Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) distribution in the sandy beach at Pensacola Beach, Florida from 2010-06-30 to 2011-06-16

Concentrations of the 16 EPA priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were measured over a period of one year at three different sites (near water, mid beach, upper beach) in the sandy beach sediment at Pensacola Beach, Florida (30°19'32.4"N 87°10'29.5"W) from 2010-06-30 to 2011-06-16. Sediments were collected at different depths over 12 months and PAH were extracted and analyzed with an Agilent 7890A GC equipped with an Agilent 7000 Triple Quadrupole MS. PAHs measured were: Naphthalene, Acenaphthylene, Acenaphthene, Fluorene, Anthracene, Phenanthrene, Pyrene, Fluoranthene, Benzo(a)anthracene, Chrysene, Benzo(a)pyrene, Benzo(b)fluoranthene, Benzo(k)fluoranthene, Indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrene, Benzo(g,h,i)perylene, Dibenz(a,h)anthracene.2010年6月30日至2011年6月16日，研究团队在美国佛罗里达州彭萨科拉海滩（30°19′32.4″N，87°10′29.5″W）的三处沙滩沉积物点位（近水区、海滩中段、海滩上段），开展了为期一年的16种美国环境保护署（Environmental Protection Agency，EPA）优先管控多环芳烃（Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons，PAHs）浓度监测。研究在12个月内于不同深度采集沉积物样本，随后使用配备安捷伦7000三重四极杆质谱仪的安捷伦7890A气相色谱仪对多环芳烃进行萃取与分析。本次检测涵盖的多环芳烃包括：萘、苊烯、苊、芴、蒽、菲、芘、荧蒽、苯并(a)蒽、䓛、苯并(a)芘、苯并(b)荧蒽、苯并(k)荧蒽、茚并(1,2,3-cd)芘、苯并(g,h,i)苝、二苯并(a,h)蒽。
