Garden Bed Rejuvenation and Weed Control at the Olive Pink Botanic Garden

The Garden Bed Rejuvenation and Weed Control will conserve and protect the native flora and fauna of the Gardens by weeding Buffel grass, rejuvenating five garden beds, removal and replacement of irrigation, installation of rejuvenated garden beds, planting 100 new plants, erosion control, installing fencing for public access control and to prevent grazing in selected areas. The project will also offer an Indigenous mentor to assist participants and provide Indigenous cultural advice. This project is a continuation of a Round Two project.花坛复壮与杂草防控项目（Garden Bed Rejuvenation and Weed Control）将通过拔除水牛草（Buffel grass）、复壮五处花坛、移除并更换灌溉系统、设置复壮后的花坛、栽植100株新植株、开展土壤侵蚀防治、安装围栏以管控公共通行并防止指定区域内的放牧行为，实现对园区本土动植物群落的保护与保育。本项目还将配备一名原住民导师，为参与者提供协助并传授原住民文化相关指导。本项目为第二轮项目的延续项目。
