Field Reconnaissance Database

Database describing much of the abiotic and biotic characteristics of the Arroyo Seco River from its confluence with the Salinas River up into Los Padres National Forest. This was done in a series of continuous and connecting reaches in the summer and fall of 2001. Data included are: low flow channel width and depth, average water depth, water temperature, estimated riparian canopy cover, estimated substrate composition, channel slope, adjacent land use type, presence of riprap, large woody debris, pools, presence of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals, and more.本数据集详细记录了阿尔科索塞科河（Arroyo Seco River）从与萨利纳斯河（Salinas River）汇流处直至洛杉矶帕德雷斯国家森林（Los Padres National Forest）河段的大部分非生物与生物特征。本次数据采集工作于2001年夏秋季通过一系列连续且相互衔接的河段完成。所收录的数据包括：枯水期河道宽度与水深、平均水深、水温、河岸植被冠层覆盖率估算值、底质组成估算值、河道坡度、邻近土地利用类型、抛石护岸（riprap）存在情况、大型木质碎屑、水潭、鱼类、两栖类、爬行类及哺乳类的存在记录等多项内容。
