MeSeH is hydrolysed to H2Se by methylselenol demethylase

A yet to be identified enzyme with methylselenol demethylase (MSDM) activity is involved in the hydrolysis of methylselenol aka methaneselenol (MeSeH) into hydrogen selenide (H2Se) and methanol. This reaction is inferred from the event in rat (Suzuki et al. 2007, Ohta and Suzuki 2008).一种尚未被确定的酶，具有甲基硒醇脱甲基酶（MSDM）活性，参与甲基硒醇（又称甲烷硒醇，MeSeH）的水解反应，生成氢硒化物（H2Se）和甲醇。该反应的推断源自大鼠体内的相关事件（Suzuki 等人，2007年，Ohta 和 Suzuki，2008年）。
