Freshwater green microalgae of inland waters in southern Norway: species identification and fatty acid profile

DATASET MIGRATED FROM FIGSHARE: Chlorophyta microalgae were isolated from Norsjø and Tårntjernet located in Vestfold and Telemark county in Norway. Isolates were identified by morphological observation and phylogenetic analysis using 18S rDNA-ITS1-5.8S rDNA sequences. Their growth and fatty acid profiles were studied under 14-day batch cultivation in a laboratory.
