Series: Flood hazard maps and flood protection for Freiburg i. Br.

The spatial data series links the supporting spatial data sets to the flood hazard maps of the federal state of BW for the urban area of Freiburg im Breisgau and the surrounding area. The actual HWGKs are provided by LUBW services. The HWGK as the main subproject for the preparation of the data basis for flood risk management (HWRM) will be created for about one third of the existing 36,000 river kilometres in Baden-Württemberg. Flood areas and depths are presented as essential information. The data come from the environmental information system (UIS) of the LUBW Landesanstalt für Umwelt Baden-Württemberg and are only a part of the data set, which is available there for the whole of Baden-Württemberg.
