MTSAT Infrared Imagery. Version 1.0

This data set contains 30 minute thermal infrared channel imagery over the Western Pacific Ocean from MTSAT-2 up to 7 October and then MTSAT-1R. MTSAT-2 operation was stopped during this time due to image data processing failure at JMA. These images were developed by NCAR/EOL. The files are in jpg format.本数据集包含西太平洋海域的30分钟间隔热红外通道影像，数据采集前期由MTSAT-2提供，至10月7日之后切换为MTSAT-1R。在此期间，因日本气象厅（JMA）出现影像数据处理故障，MTSAT-2的运行被迫暂停。本批影像由美国国家大气研究中心/地球观测实验室（NCAR/EOL）制作完成，所有文件均采用JPG格式存储。
