Sparrowhawk wing CT images

CT images of a wing (left) of an adult female sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) scanned with a Nikon XTEK XTH 225 kV µCT system (80 kV, 100 µA, 0.25 mm aluminium filter, 25 µm/voxel of resolution ) at the Henry Moseley X-ray Imaging Facility, University of Manchester. Before the scan, the wing was treated with an ~3% iodine-based formalin buffered solution for enhancing the contrast of soft tissue (Li et al., 2015).本数据集包含成年雌性雀鹰（Accipiter nisus）左翼的计算机断层扫描（CT）图像，该组图像由尼康XTEK XTH 225 kV显微计算机断层扫描（µCT）系统扫描获得，扫描参数为80千伏、100微安，配备0.25毫米铝滤片，分辨率达25微米/体素（voxel），扫描地点为曼彻斯特大学亨利·莫塞利X射线成像实验室。扫描前，该翼标本经约3%碘基福尔马林缓冲液处理，以增强软组织的成像对比度（Li等人，2015）。
