Hiking routes registered in the Departmental Plan of Promenade and Hiking Routes (PDIPR) of Gers
收藏资源简介:
The objective of the law establishing the PDIPR is to promote the discovery of natural sites and rural landscapes and then to develop non-motorised hiking modes by ensuring continuity of routes and the conservation of rural roads. In addition to hiking, the PDIPR is also open to equestrian and mountain biking. The Department’s action on the paths of Santiago de Compostela is ancient. As part of the development of the Departmental Plan for Promenade and Hiking Routes (P.D.I.P.R), the Department of Gers decided, in 1986, to include the paths of Saint-Jacques. The Department also maintains and signs these roads. Prior to 2010, these missions were delegated to external service providers. From now on, the Departmental Council ensures the maintenance of the roads of Saint-Jacques and the GR of Pays Coeur de Gascogne. The Department thus ensures continuity, security and quality of roads.
