Transcriptomic approach on Villorita cyprinoides (black clam)

Villorita cyprinoides is an ecologically and aquaculturally significant endemic species. This project aims to create reference transcriptomes that will provide a baseline for advancing studies to address the species localized habitat, underlying response mechanisms to various environmental stressors, and to improve genetically enhanced stress and disease-resistant individuals.
