On Germany's motorways and non-local federal and state roads, all vehicles are counted at counting points. On this basis, average daily traffic volumes (DTV) are calculated. The values of the average driven vehicles/24 h as well as the values for the pro-rata heavy goods traffic (Fz>3.5 t) are output. The data form an important basis for traffic or construction decisions and measures.
